Government bans 328 ‘unsafe’ fixed dose drugs

Sardion, which has been the go-to medicine to ‘treat’ headaches in Indian households for decades, was banned by the government along with 327 other combination drugs. As many as 6,000 brands are expected to be affected. Categorised as 'unsafe' and 'irrational', the banned list includes -- Panderm, Gluconorm PG, Lupidiclox and Taxim AZ.
