If you haven’t been in the loop, there is new Supreme Court ruling that has made five-year insurance on two-wheelers mandatory. This has led to an increase in the on-road cost of every motorcycle and scooter in India. We have shared the updated price lists for two-wheelers in the Royal Enfield and Honda line-up; and here is the same for TVS' two-wheelers.
The increase in prices for most offerings in the TVS line-up range from Rs 2,000-6,000. The on-road price of the Apache RTR 200 ABS R 2.0, for example, is now Rs 1.32 lakh, up from Rs 1.29 lakh.
